Wednesday's ETF with Unusual Volume: COPX

The Copper Miners ETF (COPX) is seeing unusually high volume in afternoon trading Wednesday, with over 119,000 shares traded versus three month average volume of about 31,000. Shares of COPX were off about 8.6% on the day.
Components of that ETF with the highest volume on Wednesday were Freeport McMoRan (FCX), trading down about 12.3% with over 24.6 million shares changing hands so far this session, and Lundin Mining (LUN.CA), down about 12.4% on volume of over 10.1 million shares. Southern Copper (SCCO) is the component faring the best Wednesday, lower by about 6.2% on the day, while Capstone Mining (CS.CA) is lagging other components of the Copper Miners ETF, trading lower by about 15.6%.
