S&P 500 Movers: AA, AVP

In early trading on Wednesday, shares of Avon Products (AVP) topped the list of the day's best performing components of the S&P 500 index, trading up 2.2%. Year to date, Avon Products has lost about 4.0% of its value.
And the worst performing S&P 500 component thus far on the day is Alcoa (AA), trading down 5.9%. Alcoa, Inc. is lower by about 9.6% looking at the year to date performance.
Two other components making moves today are United Rentals (URI), trading down 2.9%, and SanDisk (SNDK), trading up 2.2% on the day.
