Monday's ETF with Unusual Volume: SIL

The Silver Miners ETF (SIL) is seeing unusually high volume in afternoon trading Monday, with over 248,000 shares traded versus three month average volume of about 101,000. Shares of SIL were up about 5.9% on the day.
Components of that ETF with the highest volume on Monday were Hecla Mining (HL), trading up about 5.2% with over 8.4 million shares changing hands so far this session, and Silver Wheaton (SLW), up about 5.1% on volume of over 6.6 million shares. Bear Creek Mining (BCM.CA) is the component faring the best Monday, up by about 11.5% on the day, while Alamos Gold (AGI) is lagging other components of the Silver Miners ETF, trading higher by about 1.3%.
