Tuesday's ETF with Unusual Volume: VV

The Vanguard Large-Cap ETF (VV) is seeing unusually high volume in afternoon trading Tuesday, with over 2.5 million shares traded versus three month average volume of about 290,000. Shares of VV were off about 0.5% on the day.
Components of that ETF with the highest volume on Tuesday were Bank of America (BAC), trading up about 1% with over 39.9 million shares changing hands so far this session, and Alcoa (AA), up about 0.7% on volume of over 11.8 million shares. Transocean (RIG) is the component faring the best Tuesday, higher by about 3.6% on the day, while Pilgrims Pride (PPC) is lagging other components of the Vanguard Large-Cap ETF, trading lower by about 3%.
