S&P 500 Movers: NEM, AMD

In early trading on Monday, shares of Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) topped the list of the day's best performing components of the S&P 500 index, trading up 4.5%. Year to date, Advanced Micro Devices registers a 12.7% gain.
And the worst performing S&P 500 component thus far on the day is Newmont Mining (NEM), trading down 1.6%. Newmont Mining is showing a gain of 5.5% looking at the year to date performance.
Two other components making moves today are L3 Technologies (LLL), trading down 1.5%, and Micron Technology (MU), trading up 3.9% on the day.
