S&P 500 Movers: NWL, NEM

In early trading on Thursday, shares of Newmont Mining (NEM) topped the list of the day's best performing components of the S&P 500 index, trading up 0.9%. Year to date, Newmont Mining has lost about 7.1% of its value.
And the worst performing S&P 500 component thus far on the day is Newell Brands (NWL), trading down 4.3%. Newell Brands is lower by about 41.5% looking at the year to date performance.
Two other components making moves today are Perrigo Company (PRGO), trading down 4.2%, and Micron Technology (MU), trading up 0.7% on the day.
