S&P 500 Movers: NEM, GE

In early trading on Monday, shares of General Electric topped the list of the day's best performing components of the S&P 500 index, trading up 12.8%. Year to date, General Electric registers a 51.6% gain.
And the worst performing S&P 500 component thus far on the day is Newmont Mining, trading down 2.0%. Newmont Mining is showing a gain of 3.2% looking at the year to date performance.
Two other components making moves today are Intuit, trading down 1.7%, and Danaher, trading up 7.8% on the day.
